Learn with Gusto - Chi semina raccoglie

During the summer, a favorite activity for many Italians is their vegetable garden; a small piece of land where, when the weather is good, those who have one can grow tomatoes, peppers, zucchini and many other seasonal vegetables.

This is why we have chosen the proverb Chi semina raccoglie, which is to say that whatever actions we carry out in our lives (what you sow), whether positive or negative, we will get the results (you will reap) we deserve.

Heading into the kitchen, what can we cook with our vegetable harvest? Today we will give you the recipe for Bandiera, a delicious and colorful Umbrian side dish that will go with all of your summer main courses. This dish takes its name from the colors of the Italian flag and from the vegetables we use to make it: green zucchini, white onion and red peppers and tomatoes.

Let’s go and find out together how to make it.
