Artelingua is a language school and training center focused on Italian language education, understood as a living experience shaped by people, contexts,
and real learning goals. Our courses combine strong teaching expertise, close attention to individual learning paths, and a deep connection with the cultural and social dimensions of language.

We offer training programs for students, adults, professionals, and institutions, with learning paths that include Italian language courses, certification preparation, and cultural and experiential programs.

Italian Language School

The Italian Language School is at the core of Artelingua’s educational approach.
Italian is taught not simply as a grammatical system, but as a living language, used daily and explored through direct contact with Italian culture and the local context.

Courses are designed to develop practical communication skills useful in everyday life, academic settings, and professional contexts.
Lessons are taught by qualified instructors and follow a practical approach focused on real language use.

Programs are available in different formats and may be:

  • individual or group-based

  • intensive or ongoing

  • in person or online

Each course is adapted to participants’ language level and specific needs, and is designed for those who wish to:

  • live or work in Italy

  • improve spoken and written communication

  • explore cultural and social aspects of Italian life

  • combine language study with experiences connected to the territory

Language Certifications

Artelingua offers preparation courses for internationally recognized Italian language certifications, including the B1 level required for Italian citizenship.
Courses are designed to support students in developing the skills needed for the exams, with focused work on language competence, exam strategies, and practice based on official test formats.

Extra Activities and Learning Experiences

Alongside classroom-based courses, Artelingua offers extra activities and experiential learning opportunities that enrich the learning process and encourage cultural exchange. Italian is practiced beyond the classroom through cultural activities, meetings, events, and experiences connected to the local area.

These experiences allow students to:

  • use Italian in real-life situations

  • connect with people and local communities

  • explore Italian culture in a direct and participatory way

A Tailored Approach

Each learning path begins with careful listening to students’ needs.
For this reason, Artelingua develops tailored programs based on different goals, timelines, and contexts, while maintaining a strong focus on teaching quality and the overall learning experience.

Studying with Artelingua means joining a school that views Italian not only as a subject to be learned, but as a tool for communication, understanding, and connection.

In the Spotlight: Metodi & Creatività

A prime example of our commitment to international training is Metodi & Creatività, our flagship event that turned Umbria into a vibrant center for Italian L2 (Italian as a Second Language) pedagogy.

Through this project, we have brought some of the world’s most renowned trainers and scholars to Italy, welcoming teachers from every continent for a shared reflection on new ways of teaching and communicating.
