Elisa is an outstanding teacher, tailoring my lessons to my interests and level of proficiency. She was patient, interesting, and committed to helping me to advance my Italian. I look forward to continuing working with her next year.

I am spending a year in Italy, and have made it my personal intention to improve my Italian language skills while here. Accordingly, I have been taking Italian lessons wherever my wife and I have "set up camp" for two weeks or more. I have take lessons at 4 different Italian language schools during our stay. We spent a month in Spoleto, and I had the opportunity to learn Italianwith Elisa. She's fantastic! The best teacher I've had since arriving in Italy. Whether you're a beginner or are working on becoming fluent in Italian, I highly recommend her!

5 weeks learning Italian with Elisa & Tamara in Spoleto was an experience I will treasure. I grew up in Australia speaking the Venato dialect and wanted to be able to recognise the difference between my dialect & Italian, not a straight forward teaching exercise but Elisa catering for my needs brilliantly. I loved the learning experience and am grateful that Elisa respected my dialect at the same time as helping me to speak and understand Italian better. My relatives are so impressed with my progress!! I highly recommend the courses at Artelingua and the bonus the comes with living in beautiful Spoleto.

Grazie mille per tutto che voi avete fatto la settimana scorso. Mi ha piaciuta molto il corso e penso che io avessi fatto progressi!  (specialmente con la differenza fra l'imperfetto e il passato prossimo!!)
Il discorso sul cafe e anche la musica erano molte piacevole!  Provero a trovare Gino Paoli a U tube!
Voi avete preso il fastidio di prepare le cose molte bene per noi e sono veramente grato.

I have been teaching in a college study abroad program in Spoleto for two summers now, and during each I took ten hours of Italian with Elisa, and also with another teacher, Letizia. Both are wonderful at what they do (I've also gotten to know some of the English-speaking teachers at Artelingua, and they are excellent, too). The language training is intense, but it has so been worth the effort. They inspired me to continue studying on my own, so that when I would return to class the following day I'd have something new to show them. I will be returning again this summer and signing up for more classes. My goal is to achieve semi-functional literacy, which seemed impossible a year ago. Fluency? It might also be on the horizon.

I had 2 Weeks an intensive course with an other boy. Elisa was a professional and smart teacher! She was always good organized, motivated and patient. Although I didn´t had any Italian course in my life before after this two weeks I was able to have little conversations and I am able to understand a lot now! I never had so much fun learning a language before. Also the classes we did outside to learn the words for the clothes and to learn something about spoleto, were really really nice! I had a nice time in this language school ! :)

Arte Lingua organizzava per me un corso privato spezzialisato sul mio campo di lavoro come avvocato. Dal primo momento la Signora Elisa Bassetti era molto attivo e rimaneva in contatto frequentemente. Mi ha messo in contatto con un avvocato a Spoleto, con cui ho fatto una programma molto interessante. Grazie Elisa!
